A man surnamed Zhang in Chongqing, mainland China actually brutally murdered his son in order to repay his debts and take money to please the female anchor. Then he pushed him off a cliff and faked an accidental death in order to defraud insurance money and compensation from the mine. After the case was tried, Zhang Nan was sentenced to death; after that, he was taken to the execution ground on the 27th and executed.

In order to repay his debts and continue to give money to the female live broadcaster, Zhang Nan actually turned his brains to his 10-year-old son.
On the evening of December 21, 2019, Zhang Nan deceived his son to the outside of the fence in the mining area of Hongfeng Village, Nanping Town, Nanchuan District, Chongqing, and pressed his son’s mouth and nose with both hands, causing him to suffocate to death. After the trial, the Chongqing No. 3 Intermediate People’s Court held that Zhang Nan killed his 10-year-old biological son by covering his mouth and nose in order to use his money to please the female Internet anchor and repay his debts and to premeditate the murderer to defraud insurance and compensation. Pushing off the cliff, the motive for the crime is extremely despicable, the means are cruel, and the crime is extremely serious, so he was sentenced to death.
After the verdict came out, Zhang Nan did not appeal. On the 27th of this month, the Chongqing No. 3 Intermediate People’s Court confirmed his identity and escorted Zhang Nan to the execution ground for execution.
