ABU DHABI, 17th September / WAM / The Zayed Higher Organization concluded a memorandum of understanding with Emirates Transport to enhance their partnership regarding providing the best services to people of determination, members of the organization, and cooperation to implement an initiative to sew clothes for bus drivers and supervisors affiliated with Emirates Transport with the fingertips of people of determination in the sewing workshops of the Rehabilitation Department. Agricultural and vocational training at Zayed Higher Education, in addition to launching joint community initiatives to benefit from the talented list of people of determination.
The memorandum of understanding was signed on behalf of the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination by His Excellency Abdullah Abdul Ali Al Humaidan, Secretary General of the Foundation, and on behalf of Emirates Transport, Faryal Tawakkol, Executive Vice President and CEO of the School Transport Sector. The signing ceremony that took place at the Foundation’s headquarters was attended by a group of leaders from both sides.
In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding, the Zayed Higher Organization carries out annual awareness and education courses for Emirates Transport bus drivers and supervisors on dealing with people of determination, with the aim of raising their awareness of the security and safety measures that must be followed to maintain the safety of students during their daily trip to care and rehabilitation centers and back from them to ensure their protection from all risks, in As part of Zayed Higher’s keenness to provide the highest safety standards for its members, and to ensure their safe arrival to the organization’s headquarters.
The memorandum of understanding includes registering the Zayed Higher Organization in the supplier registry of the Emirates Transport procurement system to support the implementation of the initiative to sew clothes for bus drivers and supervisors at the fingertips of people of determination, and to provide their needs for the products of the rehabilitation workshops affiliated with “Zayed Higher Organization”, in addition to considering the possibility of training and employing distinguished students among its people with disabilities through Transport. Emirates, in addition to supporting their products by marketing and promoting them by on their buses and vehicles for free, Emirates Transport also provides a free electric car to support the ease of movement of people of determination, employees and auditors of Zayed Higher Bank, between its facilities.
His Excellency Abdullah Al Humaidan, Secretary General of the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, welcomed the conclusion of this partnership and the cooperation with Emirates Transport, praising its role in providing high-end and distinguished services, pointing to the positive and effective cooperation carried out by Emirates Transport towards “Zayed Al Ayya” and all governmental and local institutions in the field of developing… Services, as a living example of a typical partnership between these institutions.
