Zurich OpenairDavid Guetta reveals – “I know DJ Antoine, but we’re not friends”
On the third day of the Zurich Openair, David Guetta was the headliner on the main stage. Before his performance, 20 Minuten asked the star DJ questions from the visitors.
Born in France, he performed his biggest hits, including “Titanium”.

Livio (24) from Zurich: Are you planning a collaboration with Lady Gaga?
I already had a collaboration with her – but as a producer. But nothing is planned for the near future, at least we haven’t talked about it.
Matea (25) from Uster ZH: What do you love about Switzerland?
Switzerland was the first country I played outside of France. It was the Mad Club in Lausanne, I’ll never forget that. I would play there again anytime.
Michi (35) from Glattbrugg ZH: When do you want to retire?
Never. I will never turn my back on music. I love my job too much for that. Every time I think I’m retiring in five years, I think about what a great time I’m actually having. It wouldn’t make any sense and I’d be bored anyway.
Nikola (28) from Dübendorf ZH: Are you friends with DJ Antoine?
We have already met and got to know each other. But we’re not friends.
Albin (21) from Zurich: Has anything embarrassing ever happened to you at a concert?
Something unpleasant happened to me just last week. I was playing the first record of my show and suddenly it stopped. I didn’t know why. That has never happened to me. To this day I don’t know what caused it. It looked very unprofessional like as a DJ I didn’t know what I was doing.
Máté (20) from Budapest: How much do you charge for a private party?
He has to ask my manager that because I don’t talk about money. (laughs)
Sarah (26) from Zurich: Have you already been swimming in Lake Zurich?
Yes. I think I even tried water skiing back then. As far as I can remember, the water wasn’t calm enough, so I kept falling over.
Silja (22) from Bern: With whom did you come to Zurich and how long are you staying?
I’m not staying as I only came for the show. I have to go back to Ibiza because I’m DJing at Club Hï tomorrow.
