[경제]”Korean products, ignoring China after the corona… purchase experience plummeted by 36%p”

The Korea International Trade Association pointed out that the popularity of Korean products in China has declined and been ignored since the corona.

The Shanghai branch of the Korea International Trade Association revealed that this was the result of a post-corona trend survey of 1,000 consumers in China’s 10 major cities.

When asked about the image of Korean products, 54.5% of consumers answered ‘positive’ and 10% answered ‘negatively’. it happened

In addition, 43% of consumers said they had purchased Korean products within the last 5 years, down 36 percentage points from 2020.

By age, the purchase experience of those in their 20s and 30s fell by more than half, and by region, purchases by residents of large cities such as Shanghai and Beijing dropped noticeably.

The report analyzed that consumption trends in China have changed during the corona crisis, but Korean products that have entered China have failed to live up to them, resulting in a decline in popularity.

Chinese consumers cited product reviews, national image, and lack of competitiveness as reasons for not purchasing Korean products.
