AFP news report.

From July last year to January this year, CDC researchers at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the United States

These results were obtained by comparing 176 babies hospitalized for Corona 19 within 6 months after birth with 203 babies hospitalized for other reasons.

In addition, 84% of babies hospitalized for COVID-19 were babies born to women who were not vaccinated.

Two doses of the vaccine in late pregnancy provided an 80% protection, compared to 34% when vaccinated earlier.

However, the research team said that the study started early in the spread of the vaccine and that babies of pregnant women who were vaccinated before conception were not included in the study, and further analysis is needed.
