A boy in Mainland China suddenly disappeared while going to school. The school called his parents to report that the boy had not arrived at school. The anxious parents immediately called the police to report the incident and asked for police assistance. After four hours of searching, we finally found the boy taking a nap in the woods. According to Chinese media reports, an 8-year-old boy in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, was sent to the school bus stop by his father in the morning on the 15th. He left first because he had something to do. However, two hours later, he received a notification from the school that the boy had not gone to school. The worried parents immediately called to report the case. After accepting the report, the Yangzhuang Police Station of the Xi’an Public Security Bureau learned that the boy not only did not go to class, but also did not get on the school bus at all.

The police immediately launched a comprehensive search near the house. After 4 hours, everyone finally found the boy sleeping soundly in the woods near the village. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief. Later, the boy admitted that he felt very sleepy in the morning and wanted to take a nap in the woods alone, but accidentally fell asleep until noon.

In fact, children’s sleep time is closely related to brain development, and children generally need longer sleep time than adults. For example, primary school students should sleep for 10 hours a day, and their bedtime should be no later than 21:00; junior high school students should sleep for 9 hours, and their bedtime should be no later than 22:00; high school students should sleep for 8 hours, and their bedtime should be no later than 22:00.
