Fernando Ortíz, ‘interim’ Argentine coach at Club América, after the draw against Tuzos del Pachuca in the semifinals of the Clausura 2022 of Liga MX, was calm and confident that he would make it to the final in the second leg on next Sunday.
At a press conference, “Tano” declared that they will go to Pachuca to win, since it is the only result that will help the Eagles to advance to the final.

“I have no doubts that on Sunday we are going to go out to win like the first moment I assumed and I told them; Calm down. That confidence that they generated in me for 90 minutes and football takes away what you deserved, but I have no doubt that we are going to go out to gain”. Ortiz said.
“Doing a quick analysis of the 90 minutes, if we specified the two or three opportunities that we had very clear, we would be talking about another result. We have to be effective. I have no doubt about the rest, do you see me worried? No. I know there are to be smart but we’re going to win”. She declared.
America needs to win by any score in Pachuca or else the Tuzos will be the ones to advance to the Clausura 2022 final.
