A huge fire devours a skyscraper belonging to a telecommunications company in China

Al-Marsad newspaper – AFP: A huge fire broke out in a skyscraper in the city of Changsha in central China, according to what was announced by Chinese public television, noting that the number of injuries “is not yet known.”

And the Chinese public channel CCTV explained that “thick smoke is rising from the site, while the fires are raging strongly on several floors of the building,” noting that “firefighters began work to put out the fires and conduct rescue operations at the scene.”

The report stated that the fire engulfed the building that houses the office of the state-owned telecommunications company “China Telecom”.

Pictures and videos circulated on social media showed flames blazing from the building, while black smoke rose into the sky.

The population of Changsha, the capital of Hunan Province, is regarding 10 million.
