A statement by the Commission’s Investigation Department, received by Alsumaria News, stated that “a work team from the Muthanna Investigation Office moved to the governorate office to set the priorities for an administrative order appointing (811) daily wage workers in a number of departments in the governorate without the availability of financial allocations, indicating that the order that was signed By the first deputy governor, which includes the direct appointment of the appointed persons when the financial allocation is available.

The department pointed out that “the team – after investigation and audit – seized an order issued by the governor of Al-Muthanna to cancel these appointments, while the control team moved to the relevant departments to control direct orders for the daily workers.”

And in the governorate health department, the department reported, “Two separate operations were carried out, during the first of which (13) sale lists and inventory entry documents were seized for the supply of (500) respirators by the Ministry of Health, indicating that the devices were not fit for use, due to their violation of technical specifications, pointing out that That the equipment was outside the basic need and without consulting the authorities and committees, in addition to that the number of rooms allocated for critical cases is (40) rooms, while it was revealed during the other process that an amount of (99,000,000) million dinars was spent, contrary to the instructions for implementing the Budget Law of 2018, explaining that the department She disbursed the indebtedness transaction with the aforementioned amount, to purchase (a device for lithotripsy).

The statement added, “During the transfer to the Mesopotamia Company for Seed Purification, lists of names of farmers who received wheat seeds for the season (2021 and 2022) were seized, noting that the names of people who are not farmers and do not own agricultural land have been revealed, and they do not have agricultural contracts in those lists.” Despite this, they were equipped with seeds, in violation of the law, indicating that the value of the seeds processed in violation of the law amounted to (1,270,500,000) billion dinars.

And the department confirmed, that “it was monitored that the General Company for the Distribution of Petroleum Products – Al-Muthanna Branch supplied the Hatra Distribution Center with fuel in more than the amount determined by (900 m3, at a value of 180,000,000) million dinars, while (340) annual seizures of taxi vehicles booked in the Transport Authority in Al-Muthanna, warning that the Director of the Transport Authority reserved the annuals without a legal basis authorizing him to do so, in addition to that his action was to collect money from the owners of the impounded vehicles.
