Thus, in the first three months of this year, the administrator of “Latvijas krājbanka” collected a total of 206,400 euros.
At the same time, the costs of the insolvency proceedings of “Latvijas krājbanka” in March 2023 amounted to EUR 28,676, including the necessary expenses for the maintenance of the property of the credit institution and the maintenance of the necessary working premises during the insolvency proceedings in the amount of EUR 24,550, wages and severance pay of employees – 4,060 euros, and the remuneration of the administrator and assistant administrator amounted to 66 euros.
During the first three months of this year, the expenses in the insolvency process of “Latvijas krājbanka” amounted to 113,381 euros.
At the end of March this year, Latvijas krājbanka owed the Deposit Guarantee Fund 167.426 million euros, the same as a month earlier.
At the same time, other stated claims of creditors amounted to EUR 264.182 million.
At the same time, the assets of “Latvijas krājbanka” at the end of March this year amounted to 3.451 million euros.
At the end of March, Latvijas krājbanka’s claims against credit institutions amounted to 3.384 million euros, and the value of movable and immovable property put up for sale was 1,734 euros.
The bank’s equity at the end of March 2023 was negative – minus 466.374 million euros.
LETA has already reported that on December 23, 2011, the Riga District Court declared “Latvijas krājbanka” insolvent, and on May 8, 2012, the court decided to satisfy the claim of the bank’s administrator, auditing company “KPMG Baltics”, to initiate bankruptcy proceedings for the bank.
On November 21, 2011, the Council of the Financial and Capital Market Commission (FCMC / FKTK), which has been attached to the Bank of Latvia since 2023, decided to suspend all financial services of Latvijas krājbanka. This decision was made on the basis of the revealed insufficiency of funds in the bank. The FCMC canceled the license of Latvijas krājbanka as a credit institution on May 10, 2012.
