The Chinese company, “Vivo”, launched its new phone, “Y52t” today, Saturday, as its latest release for the economic category targeting young people. The phone packs the specifications of the mid-range devices, but it comes at a competitive price of no more than 186 dollars.
The new phone from “Vivo” features a 6.56-inch IPS LCD screen with “HD +” resolution (1600 x 720 pixels), a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a peak brightness of 600 nits, and the company claims that the screen provides an “experience.” Wonderful” when exposed to direct sunlight.
The phone – which comes with two “nano” SIM cards – is powered by an eight-core “Dimensity 700” medium processor developed by the American company “Mediatech”, paired with a “Mali” graphic processor, without specifying a specific number.
The processor works with 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1 TB via a microSD card. The new phone comes as a successor to the “Y52” phone that was launched by “Vivo” last year.
The new smartphone runs on the “Android 12” operating system directly from the box, with the traditional “Vivo” interface, “Origin OS”. The phone has a large 5000 mAh battery along with 10W charging support.
For connectivity options, the phone supports the fifth generation (5G), the fourth generation (4G or LTE), “Wi-Fi” dual-zone (2.4 + 5 GHz), “Bluetooth V5.1”, a “USB Type-C” port and a socket 3.5 mm headphone. The phone also has a side fingerprint sensor for biometric security. It weighs about 198 grams and is 8.45 mm thick.
For photography, the Vivo Y52T phone comes with a dual rear camera setup, which includes a 13-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. On the front, the phone has an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
The Chinese company has set the price of the basic version of the “Y52T” phone, which comes with 8 RAM and 128 storage space, at $ 186, while the higher version (8 RAM + 256) comes at $ 214.5. The phone is available in “Ice Lake Blue”, “Coconut Peach” and Black color options.
