Al-Marsad Newspaper: The head of King Faisal Specialist Hospital, Majed Al-Fayyad, revealed who bears the costs of treatment in the hospital: the state or the patient, following the royal order to convert the hospital into a non-profit institution.
Al-Fayyad said during his meeting on Al-Liwan program that if the patient suffers from incurable diseases, the state bears the costs.
He continued that insurance billing may happen even if the patient has cancer, stressing that this is in the event that the patient needs the hospital and does not want it.
