German striker Timo Werner has revealed that Germany coach Hans-Dieter Flick played a role in his return to Leipzig.
Werner said in statements to the famous Bild magazine in Germany that everyone knows that he has a good relationship with Flick and that he contacted him to help him make his decision to leave Chelsea and return to the German club.
Werner added that Flick’s opinion was correct regardless of participating in the World Cup because he knows the environment that Werner needs, which he gave him with the German national team.
