Thursday morning, an individual was arrested while he was at Place des Guillemins in Liège. The man is suspected of having stolen a bag from a vehicle that was parked on the Place des Guillemins in Liège. The owner was busy unloading his vehicle when the thief opened the driver’s side door and stole a pannier. A satchel that was found in the nearby bushes but the wallet was missing. The whole scene was filmed by surveillance cameras placed near the station.
When the suspect was arrested by Liège police, a gold bracelet fell out of his pocket. The satchel thief was unable to give a satisfactory explanation of the origin of this bracelet.
The suspect, born in 1995, was deprived of his liberty for the theft of the satchel and the concealment of the gold bracelet. On Friday morning, he was made available to the Liège prosecutor’s office.
