An autopsy and toxicology tests have been ordered to determine what happened. Similar symptoms appeared in three residents on Friday morning. A fourth resident has died. The death of this man was initially considered natural, but the symptoms observed in the three other residents prompted the judicial authorities to continue the search. The MRS cooperates fully with the police and the prosecution. The staff and relatives were taken care of by the victim support service.
The prosecution mobilized a forensic team. An investigating judge was requisitioned because they are demented residents who cannot consent to certain acts of investigation and the seizure, for example, of medical records, and not because one would suspect a a priori an intentional act, said the prosecution.
