The National Civil Aviation Authority, an independent administrative entity that regulates Civil Aviation in Angola, is recruiting new inspectors for national civil aviation, with a view to ensuring the quality standards of operational security services.
The Human Resources Department of the entity that supervises, regulates, inspects and certifies the civil aviation sector informs that, among other benefits, ANAC provides specific training for inspectors in accordance with the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) ; social benefits according to the category to be integrated; remuneration compatible with the function and experience; possibility of personal and professional development.
To this end, it requests minimum requirements from interested parties, such as completion of a high school course (12th year); hold an Airline Transport Pilot License; have a minimum total of 5,000 flight hours; have at least five (5) years experience as a Captain in an aircraft over 27000 kg on a recognized airline. Likewise, candidates must have Level IV written and spoken knowledge of English and availability to work full-time and to travel in national and foreign territory.
With the inclusion of new inspectors in the civil aviation sector, the body intends to reinforce the inspection team, in terms of operational safety, with the integration of new inspectors responding to the dictates provided for in the terms of articles 43 and 44 of the Law 27/21, of 25 October – Law on Independent Authorities, in conjunction with paragraph 3 of article 29 of Law no. 28/21, of 25 October – Law on the National Civil Aviation Authority .

The public notice, which news had access to, underlines, however, that candidates must wait “patiently for contact from ANAC, which will pronounce itself through the official channels at its disposal on the Internet or alternative ones”.
