Boston Beer scalps its forecast

(AOF) – Boston Beer, the brewer of beer Sam Adams, could show in 2021 a loss of up to a dollar per share in 2021. In a document filed with the SEC, the Constable of the Stock Exchange in the United States, the group announces that it expects a net profit of between a loss of one dollar per share and an income of one dollar. Until then, he was aiming for a profit of $ 2 to $ 6 per share. Analysts polled by FactSet had expected Boston Beer to report earnings of $ 5.69 per share for the year.

Boston Beer was penalized by a drop in wholesale inventories and higher costs linked to supply difficulties. The brewer has however assured that consumer demand for its products “has been at the upper limit” of its expectations.
