Fado Festival returns for the 5th year in Morocco, on September 20, 22 and 23, under the theme “Le Fado et la Mer”.
The event aims to promote the Portuguese language, culture and brand abroad with one of the main emblems of the country: fado, Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, explain the organizers .
The public will have an appointment with artists representing the new generation of Fado, such as Joana Amendoeira (Tuesday September 20 in Rabat and Thursday September 22 in Casablanca), as well as the duo composed of singer Camané and pianist and composer Mário Laginha (Friday September 23 in Casablanca).
