City Council denies “fake news”

Following a false document that has been circulating on the Web since the weekend, the Casablanca City Council published, on Friday, an update to enlighten public opinion on the announcement of a call for tenders intended activities of civil society associations.

Said document, relayed, Wednesday, May 11, 2022, on social networks is devoid of any foundation.

The counsel, according to the clarification, refutes the false allegations contained in the aforementioned document, stating that the alleged document does not contain a signature or a seal bearing the name of the responsible party. And to add that the council will take all the necessary measures and reserves the right to take legal action once morest anyone behind the dissemination of this falsified document to put an end to these practices which damage the image of the municipality.

The municipality has concluded that a call for tenders will soon be launched to support the activities of the associations and will be made public on its official portal.
