British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak issued a deep apology to Adidas Samba fans around the world. He made this apology after being deemed to have damaged the image of the sneakers.

“I offer a full apology to the Samba community,” Sunak said.

However, in his defense, he also said that he had been using Samba for years.

“I’ve been wearing Adidas sneakers, Sambas and others for years,” he said.

“My first sambas was given to me by my sister many years ago as a Christmas gift,” he added.

Previously, Sunak was seen wearing these shoes in an interview on social media Instagram when he was promoting the government’s tax cuts.

The look sparked reactions from fashion fans as Sunak paired sneakers with trousers and a white shirt.

Fashion fans say the brand is tarnished because of Sunak. GQ magazine for example. They gave a scathing response.

“In an attempt to present himself as young and cool, Sunak wore trainers that actually ruined him.”

In fact, this is not the first time Sunak has been criticized for his appearance. In 2021, Sunak wore a pair of Palm Angels pool sliders worth £95. However, she stated that she was amused by the amount of attention paid to her for what she was wearing. (Z-11)
