Al-Marsad Newspaper: Radiation oncology consultant Dr. Youssef Kateb explained the fact that “masturbation” causes prostate cancer.
He said during an interview with the “Madam” program: “There is no scientific study that has proven that” masturbation “is one of the causes of prostate cancer.”
He added, “Sometimes masturbation is beneficial, so that changes in the prostate gland do not occur with the loss of semen and spermatogenesis.”
He pointed out that there is no specific cause that leads to prostate cancer, but studies have shown that changes in the DNA that nourishes the cells in the prostate gland lead to division and changes in growth, and thus normal cells change and become abnormal and cause tumors, and with their accumulation, symptoms begin to appear gradually.
