The death toll from an attack on a concert hall in Moscow claimed by Islamic extremists rose to 143, Russian authorities said.

Authorities listed the names of the dead at Russia’s ministry for civil defense and emergency situations five days after last Friday’s attack, which was the deadliest attack claimed to date by the Islamic State on European soil and the worst in Russia in two decades.

As of Wednesday afternoon, 80 people injured in the attack, including six children, remained hospitalized, the TASS news agency quoted Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko as saying.

A medical source, who asked not to be named, told TASS 205 people had received outpatient treatment.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova told reporters a day earlier that many people in shock did not initially return to hospital for treatment.

On Friday, shooters opened fire at the Crocus City concert hall near Moscow, setting the venue on fire.

Four suspects in the attack, all from Tajikistan according to Russian state media, were detained along with several suspected associates.

A Moscow court has ordered the men to be held in pre-prosecution custody until May 22.

Russia said on Saturday it had arrested 11 people in connection with the attack. There is no information about the other seven.

The attack was immediately claimed by the Islamic State even though Moscow has repeated its earlier line on relations with Ukraine.

Kyiv denies any involvement.

Russia has been a target of the Islamic State for several years due to its role in suppressing instability in regions with substantial Muslim majorities as well as its support for the regime in Syria’s civil war.

On Monday, three days after the attack, President Vladimir Putin acknowledged for the first time that the alleged shooters were radical Islamists but continued to insist on ties to Ukraine, saying the perpetrators were headed there when they were caught about 150 kilometers (93 miles) from the border.
