L’extension The Witch Queen from Destiny 2 is now available and as with all content of this magnitude, Bungie created a new Raidthe Disciple’s Oath, for the occasion, whose launch is imminent. It is indeed this Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 7:00 p.m.i.e. one hour after the daily reset, that squads of 6 Guardians will be able to launch an assault on the Pyramid located in the Throne World from Savathn. For the occasion, a trailer highlighting above all the community and the precedents World First was broadcast, which spoile so nothing rest assured.
As you may have discovered while exploring this new destination, we are finally going to discover what is hidden behind the well-guarded door located in the Miasmewhich blocks access to Disciple’s Swamp. The only certainty about what awaits us is that so we have to face the first disciple (from Witness ?), which is the title of a track from theOSTjust hope this time Taniks don’t come back! The main illustration of Raid also features some weird starships/drones that we’ve never encountered before.
A priori, its completion by the very first team of Guardians should unlock new content like what was done for example with the last wish and the stone crypt. Indeed, one of the quests of Table of Evidence of the’Enclave indicates that it is necessary to have completed a still unknown activity, the completion of the various reports being it necessary to access the quest of the Sword exotic.
Regarding its access, the first 24 hours will be placed under the sign of mode Tournamentplacing all participants at a level of Power 20 levels lower than each encounter in the Raid. The benefits of Powerincluding those ofArtifactwill be disabled above 1530 (having more will be useless), which means that a vast majority of players will be able to access it without too much concern, the seasonal cap without bonus being 1,560. In addition, certain equipment will not be functional within the confines of the Raid for the duration of the competition due to concerns that they would benefit too much the gameplay. Here is their list:
Weapons
- Legendary submachine gun IKELOS_SMG_V1.0.2.
- Imperial Needle legendary bow.
- Exotic machine gun Large aperture.
- Wardcliff Coil Exotic Rocket Launcher.
Armors and mods
- Exotic gauntlets for Titan Caress of the Worm God.
- Exotic leg armor for Titan Pilgrim’s Greaves.
- Neutralizing Glaive Artifact class item mod (in all activities).
To have a chance to claim the title, it won’t be enough to beat the final boss, you will then have to looter the last chest and returning to orbit, nothing new, but it is good to state it again. Only the 6 Guardians present at that time will be crowned champions and will be entitled to the belt of Raid below. Of course, Bungie will ensure that no cheating has taken place before declaring a winner. All participants passing the Disciple’s Oath within 24 hours of its launch will be rewarded with the first Emblem which follows, the other being available indefinitely for any completion.
A jacket of Raid can be purchased by anyone who successfully attempted in the first week (until March 15 at 7:00 p.m.) in the Bungie Storecosting all the same 164 €, and this until March 31. A pin (22 €) will be purchasable by successfully completing the activity by the end of the season and the Seal from Raid (24 €) asking to make various Triumphs will be on sale until December 31, 2022.
And of course, there will be loot to glean in game, the Badge related to Raid indicating 14 awardsof which 5 are armor pieces per class (set Resonating Fury) and at least one other being the Exotic only obtainable in the activity, the Pulse Rifle Collective Obligation (son Ornament is already visible in the Collections). With some Emblems showing light breaking down into rainbow colors, we wouldn’t be surprised if a mechanical Raid either related to refraction or reflection… In short, good luck to all participants.
