What is lemon balm?

Application: This is how lemon balm can be used

Lemon balm can be used both externally and internally. Ursel Bühring recommends the following recipe for a daily amount (two to three cups of tea) for a bedtime tea:

The infusion should steep for ten minutes with the lid closed. This is important because the essential oils could evaporate with the steam. A cure lasts four to six weeks.

According to Ursel Bühring, commercially available tea bags are less suitable for treating ailments because the parts of the plant are severely crushed and some of the essential oil may have already evaporated.
