This Monday, around 4 p.m., a collision occurred between a truck and a car on the E40 motorway, shortly before the Berloz exit. The car caught fire but fortunately the occupants were able to get out and run to safety.

But with the vehicle running on LPG, there was a risk of explosion. The E40 therefore had to be closed to traffic by the motorway police. Firefighters from the Hesbaye area intervened and were able to quickly bring the fire under control. The E40 was then reopened.
The accident caused traffic disruptions. Fortunately, there were no injuries.
