Sharjah, 15 September / WAM / The activities of the 50th edition of the “Middle East Watches and Jewelery” exhibition, which is organized by the Sharjah Expo Center with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry from 5 to 9 October 2022, will witness the hosting of the International Forum for Jewelery Designers with the wide participation of the most prominent institutions and institutes Design around the world, leading speakers, experts, and the most important local and international players in the field of gold and jewelry design and manufacture.
The forum sessions, which will be organized on the seventh of October, will discuss a number of main themes, most notably the future direction of jewelry and gem design, the most important techniques used in integrating stones and diamonds manufactured in laboratories, in addition to highlighting ways to develop professional knowledge and global education and training opportunities available to achieve leadership in the design and industry. His Excellency Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Center Sharjah, confirmed that the activities of the 50th edition of the “Middle East Watches and Jewelery” exhibition will witness, in addition to the forum, innovative programmes, workshops and activities organized for the first time in the history of the event, as part of the center’s keenness to present a course worthy of the exhibition’s leading position. As one of the most important events specialized in gold and jewelry at the level of the Middle East and Africa, pointing to the importance of the International Forum for Jewelery Designers, including its agenda and dialogue sessions in anticipating the future of the gold and jewelry industry and design, and supporting this industry by providing an opportunity for its employees to learn regarding the best international practices followed and gain experience A new process that enhances their ability to lead and innovate in the world of jewelry design.
For his part, Sultan Shattaf, Director of Sales and Marketing Department at Expo Center Sharjah, indicated that the activities of the International Jewelery Designers Forum will provide the participants with the opportunity to learn regarding new and innovative design trends in the world of gold and jewelry and the most prominent technologies used in this field, which will be presented by a selection of speakers and experts from the most important institutions and design institutes. In the world, pointing out that the “Middle East Watches and Jewelery” exhibition this year will include, in addition to the forum, many innovative events, programs and activities, most notably the special display of the latest collections of gold and jewelry and the latest innovations in the design of luxury watches and precious stones from all over the world, in addition to holding workshops Cultural information regarding jewelry and precious stones in terms of their types, methods of extraction, and their leading countries.
The 50th edition of the event will witness, for the first time, various international participations from Europe, Latin America and Africa, as well as hundreds of companies specialized in designing and manufacturing watches, jewelry and gold works from various countries of the world and the most famous brands in gold, diamonds and jewelry, in addition to the brilliant presence of local companies and a selection of Emirati designers.
