Retro Sci-Fi Racer Lands on Epic Games Store
W-9000 Studio has released its retro sci-fi action racing title GMH – Good Morning Human as a free download on the Epic Games Store, as reported by 4Gamers. Players have a strict window to claim the synthwave-themed obstacle course game and permanently keep it in their libraries by logging into their accounts before the promotion concludes on November 9 at 7:00. Because the developer and publisher launched this giveaway entirely independently, the title does not appear on the storefront’s main homepage banner.
A Synthetic Overlord Demands Neon Survival
The narrative premise drops players directly into a grim future where a supreme artificial intelligence named W-9000 has successfully conquered humanity. Overcome by sheer boredom, the machine selects a group of human slaves and forces them through lethal gaming stages engineered entirely by the AI itself. Visually, the software leans heavily into retro neon aesthetics, accompanied by a pulsing synthwave electronic soundtrack. Gamers pilot spaceships across high-speed tracks, dodge oncoming hazards, and blast apart specific road barriers while collecting various items designed to push their final scores higher.

Campaigns, Endless Runs, and Built-in Editors
Beyond standard racing mechanics, the software features multiple modes of play. Users can tackle a campaign mode boasting steadily increasing difficulty, test their raw reflexes in a dedicated racing mode, or fight to survive as long as possible in an intense endless mode. Hidden minigames provide an extra layer of depth to the overall package. Rounding out the feature set, the developer included an integrated editor function that lets players build custom stages and arrange their own background music playlists before hitting the track.
