One fire of considerable magnitude was unleashed this Monday afternoon in a chemical waste depositlocated in the Buenos Aires district of Saint Ferdinand. Dozens of firefighters fight the flames for these hours, and, for the moment, no victims were reported.
The incident occurred in an area of 100 meters by 200 meters of the STC companyLocated on the street Martin Rodriguez 2755of the aforementioned locality, in the northern area of Greater Buenos Aires.
After a call to 911, After 6 p.m. this Monday, members of the Buenos Aires police and at least 20 firefighters moved to the scene.
The fire is “widespread” and its causes were not established at the timebut it is circumscribed, confirmed Civil Defense of San Fernando.
The roof of the place collapsed due to the flames.and at the time the fire broke out, a watchman, Gustavo Rojas, 43, was on the premises, and suffered no injuries.
They also work in the area four ambulances, Civil Defense vans, and members of the 2nd San Fernando Police Station. As a precaution, electricity and gas were cut off in neighboring houses.
