The good weather returns and, with it, the proliferation of mosquitoes, and in particular tiger mosquitoes. The latter are likely, under certain conditions, to transmit diseases such as dengue fever, chikungunya and zika. This is why the Ars invites us to redouble our vigilance by indicating the right actions to adopt. “Eliminate places where water can stagnate (green waste, bulky items, tools, etc.); avoid using saucers or filling them with sand; favor potted plants over cut flowers; cover water containers and reservoirs (watering cans, cans, cisterns, etc.) and finally check that the gutters run smoothly”, are advice relayed on the Facebook page of the town of Maurepas, to be implemented in order to pass a serene summer time.
