French-speaking parliamentarians congratulate Gabon on its return to the concert of nations

The President of the Transition, President of the Republic, Head of State, General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema received today in audience Mr Bruno Fuchs, Deputy of Haut-Rhin, General Delegate of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Francophonie accompanied by Mr. Benoît Onambele, Diplomatic Advisor in charge of International Mediations.

The evolution of the transition process started on August 30 by our country as well as the reintegration of Gabon into ECCAS were the subject of discussions between the Head of State and the French parliamentarian. On this subject, Mr. Bruno Fuchs wished to express his congratulations to the President of the Republic for the prominent place regained by Gabon in the concert of Nations.

The holding of the inclusive national dialogue in the coming days was also at the center of discussions between the President of the Republic and his hosts. Indeed, the General Delegate of the French-speaking Parliamentary Assembly did not fail to appreciate the organization of these meetings, and mainly the participation of all layers of society as well as the taking into account of the proposals that will be made by these. Let us recall that the inclusive national dialogue will be held from April 2 to 30 and, thanks to the will of the President of the Transition, this national conference will see the participation of all the active forces of the Nation in order to work, among other things, on the drafting of the new Constitution.
