The German national ice hockey team surprisingly made it into the final of the 2023 World Championships in Finland and Latvia with a dramatic victory over the USA (4:3 after extra time). On Sunday it’s all about gold against record world champions Canada.
The final will be held in Tampere. Here we go 19:20 Uhr LIME.
Regardless of the outcome of the final, it is the biggest success for Germany since winning the silver medal at the 2018 Olympic Games in Pyeongchang. It is also the first World Cup medal in 70 years.
