Rockstar Games has initiated the final promotional phase for Grand Theft Auto 6, deploying a global marketing campaign across major metropolitan hubs less than two weeks before the scheduled release. As Notebookcheck reported, the rollout involves an extensive array of physical advertisements, including billboards, murals, and branded vehicles that have appeared internationally.
North American and European Presence
The campaign has established a significant footprint in the United States, featuring large-scale murals in Brooklyn, New York, and prominent signage atop the Kaseya Center in Miami. The promotion is also highly visible in New York’s Times Square. Across Europe, the marketing push is equally pervasive. Commuters at Berlin’s Alexanderplatz are greeted by two large posters on the subway platform, while the transit system in Lisbon also features dedicated advertisements. In Paris, specifically within the La Défense district, large-scale promotional displays have been installed.
Global Expansion in Asia and Australia
The reach of the campaign extends into major Asian and Australian cities with localized creative executions. In Osaka, Japan, GTA 6 promotional material has been integrated into the city’s prominent neon signage. Singapore has seen a more immersive approach, with an entire subway station decorated in the game’s aesthetic, including full-length coverage of a walkway and branded pillars. Reports from China indicate the presence of a double-decker tram featuring game-related advertising.
In Australia, the campaign utilizes both static and mobile advertising. A large-scale mural created by two artists has been documented on the side of a multi-story building in Melbourne. The transit networks in both Melbourne and Sydney have incorporated GTA 6 branding onto their streetcars.
