Al-Marsad newspaper: The security authorities at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Nigeria managed to arrest a drug smuggler who tried to smuggle narcotic substances into Saudi Arabia by hiding them in his shoes.
Nigerian media indicated that the accused, named Loyal Owenga, a Nigerian, was stopped at the airport while he was on his way to Jeddah via Ethiopian Airlines.
After confronting him, the accused admitted to trying to smuggle narcotic substances (cocaine) amounting to 400 grams. Indicating that he has another partner called “al-Muallem” who works in the smuggling and contraband trade.
