Ekaterina Gordon, the founder of the Gordon and Sons law firm, reported cases of peer violence against a minor pupil of the youth sports school of the Toros hockey club from Neftekamsk on social networks. The parents of the injured child contacted the organization.
According to her, several incidents occurred during the championship of Russia among young men “Volga region. Cup of the Volga Region”, held in Tuymazy.
“One of the team members, an underage teenager, offered to play a childish game of fofans and schelbans in his hotel room. Further, from this teenager, other boys were offered to play sexual games. Our client refused, despite protests, other teenagers forced him to return. The room was followed by violent perverted actions against a teenager. Due to the fact that he did not obey, he was beaten and abused,” wrote Gordon. “The torture of the teenager continued throughout the tournament by peers, both in person and through SMS messages, using swear words.”
She added that the boy quit training, and his offenders continue to attend classes at school.
“Currently, we have submitted an application to the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Bashkortostan to conduct an audit on this case. We hope that the leadership of the Toros-YuHL team will take tough measures against young perverts, ”summed up the lawyer.
General Director of HC “Toros” Alexander Nikolaev in an interview with “Match TV” commented case of sexual abuse against a young hockey player. He said that the sports club offered the parents the services of a psychologist.
“Now the Investigative Committee is dealing with this case. We will give full comments after the investigation. It is wrong to express a one-sided position on social networks, as parents see it. But you need to understand, these are children. We created a commission in our club, conducted an internal investigation. We are doing our job, we are not moving away from this situation. They offered their help to a teenager in the form of a psychologist. He met with the child to help him. But the parents refused his services and decided to go their own way,” said Alexander Nikolaev. – It is necessary that an investigation be held, after which it will be clear who is to blame. When it becomes possible, we will make a special statement on the official website of the club.”
The Bashinform agency asked the press service of the TFR for the Republic of Belarus for a comment on the incident. The department replied that they do not comment on the published information in accordance with applicable law.
