The health condition of the Kuwaiti artist, Jawaher, who suffers from cancer, deteriorated after she entered intensive care.
Journalist Nayef Al-Shammari revealed the developments in the health status of his compatriot, Jawaher, confirming in a video clip broadcast that she had entered intensive care in the hospital where she was being treated, in the capital, London.
In a previous interview with the media, May Al-Aidan, Jawaher stated that she knew that she had stomach cancer at the end of 2019, after a wrong diagnosis at the beginning, which caused the disease to spread to the liver.
At the time, she said that she underwent more than 51 chemotherapy doses in her treatment journey, which she started in 2020.
She explained, at the time, that “the doctors told her that they would not be able to remove the tumors, but that they would try to contain the disease,” indicating that “this disease changed her character and made her more patient, and revealed to her the truth about many people with whom she had strong relationships and friendships, but they abandoned her.” And they cut off their contacts with her since the beginning of her illness,” pointing out, “her happiness with the messages and supplications that she receives from people she does not know through her accounts on social networking sites.”
Referring to her children who accompany her on her treatment journey along with her family, the artist confirmed, “Her children are part of her treatment and that she hopes to overcome the stage of illness to complete her message with them and see them in advanced levels in life.”
The artist concluded her speech by indicating her intention to write her diary in the fight against cancer, to raise the morale of cancer patients.
