Lior Ashkenazi (screenshot photo, Keshet 12) The actor Lior Ashkenazi is responsible for the impersonation of Nir Debori, the head of the military and security affairs desk of the news company, in the satire show “Wonderful Country”. Last night the two were guests on the program “Together We Will Win” presented by Erez Tal and Abri Gilad, when Ashkenazi is next to them in the studio and Debori appears on a screen.

At the end of the item with Debory, Avery inquired with him what he thought about his imitation in a wonderful country. Debori replied: “I don’t know, they told me it’s fine, so I’m flowing,” and continued: “I trust Lior who is sitting next to you, that he knows what he’s doing.” When asked by Erez if he could give Ashkenazi tips, he replied: “Can I give Lior Ashkenazi tips? Tell me, where do you live?”.
After there was a change in Ashkenazi’s body language, who began to fold his hands, touch his head and look uneasy, he was asked if he was embarrassed by the meeting with Dvori. “Very. Later, Ashkenazi revealed that he prefers imitating Debori over Gantz “because it’s more fun” and provided details about the behind the scenes: “Working on the makeup takes almost three hours. After that you can’t get up from the chair, it’s quite difficult.”
The novel of Lior Ashkenazi and ‘Amazing Land’ began after Ashkenazi was a guest at LeTag, in which he played the character of MK Benny Gantz. “It turned out that there were a lot of election campaigns and suddenly there were many seasons of Amazing Land and I got stuck there.”
