For her third album Moons and Hideaways to have Order from Lyon, France, to launch an all-out attack. With a new line up, new creative processes have also been established; actually they are well-established processes.

For the recordings, the band, far from home, devoted themselves entirely to finding creative ideas and working out unique song elements. Indeed sounds Moons and Hideaways like a carefully matured and finely balanced total work of art.

An intense experience for the band and for the listener

The band goes to work with an intensity that fans of atmospherically dense progressive metal would expect from Catatonia or Paradise Lost knows. The bands mentioned and their origins in the dark metal roots of the 1990s are an important source of inspiration for Order. They combine classic songwriting with modern production.

A taste awaits HERE with the video too You’ll Become A Memory on the listener. This turns out to be a song with great suspense and a high degree of emotionality. The songs hardly go beyond the scope of a five-minute one, so they are kept quite compact and thus gain massively in intensity and melancholy as in the track Fast Rewind.

Atmospherically dense and of one piece

The instrumental skill of the performers is not in the foreground in this Progressive Metal, rather it is largely responsible for conveying the intended atmosphere. Of course, the mix of Nikita Kamprad at who is already in his own project The way of freedom dedicated to extracting emotions from first-class song material. accomplish great things Order in the relatively catchy This Mistake Again. The musicians balance their skills at a dizzying level, just like you HERE can see.

Nowhere affects Moons and Hideaways a fragment out of place or not properly worked out. The band delivers a mature masterpiece that reflects the level of work and emotion in every note. The rich production does the rest. Vinyl fans can also look forward to a variant. For my part, the album is warmly recommended to all friends of atmospheric progressive metal.

Conclusion
A fabulous feat of songwriting and creating dark and pull-inducing moods Order on their third album Moons and Hideaways effortlessly. The intensive work and prominent support definitely pay off. 9 / 10
