Multergass Fashion Show 2023: A Spectacular Runway Event in the Heart of St.Gallen

225 meters of catwalk (from Bärenplatz to Globus), 50 models, including 32 professionals and around a dozen kids, 18 participating companies and two rounds of around 40 minutes each: These are the impressive key data of the second Multergass fashion show after 2019, which will take place there on September 2, 2023.

“We don’t just want to give Multergasse a presence, but the entire city center and show that something is going on here,” says Rico Baettig, President of the Multergass Society and the MFS organizing committee. “Under the motto ‘Multergasse & Friends’, specialist shops from Multergasse and from adjacent streets and alleys will present the latest fashion – for young and old, big and small.”

Six players from FC St.Gallen 1879 will also be among the models

They show the new dresses and the FCSG Puma collection – and are available for autograph requests between rounds in the tent at Bärenplatz.

“We want to revitalize the city center, bring people into the city and show that there is always something to experience in St.Gallen,” says Deborah Näf from the MFS-OK. And Scarlett Weingartner, who is responsible for the models, adds: “The 50 models, who after all run off almost half a kilometer with each run, are looking forward to a great event for everyone in the middle of St.Gallen with us.”

The various blocks are announced by apprentices from the participating shops, who use their boards to inform what is currently being shown. The show on the 225 meter long blue carpet will be accompanied by subtle music, which will also create a good atmosphere in Multergasse from 11:00 am to around 4:30 pm.

The postponement date is September 30th

However, Rico Baettig is convinced that he does not have to use it: «We were lucky with the weather at almost all events of the Multergass Society. So sure this time too.” The decision for the definitive implementation will be made on August 26th.
