Atlanta continues. Victorious Tuesday in Chicago, the Hawks beat Washington 134-116. With a record of 41 wins against 39 losses, Capela and his teammates consolidated their 8th place in the Eastern Conference standings, synonymous with home advantage during the pre-playoffs.
The hope of qualifying directly for the playoffs, however, faded after the victory of Brooklyn, 6th in this Eastern Conference, ahead of Detroit. Returning only in the afternoon from Chicago due to a plane problem, Clint Capela and his teammates were not really worried by Wizards reduced by the weight of absences.
Very quickly hampered by faults, Clint Capela only had 15 minutes playing time to score 9 points and pick up 4 rebounds. He benefited from a differential of +16.
