Netflix officially rolls out in more major marketsCombating Password SharingI don’t know if everyone pays obediently? Or go online to find a way to circumvent?data analysis company Antenna Tracked the growth of Netflix US subscribers and published a report stating that the relevant measures are quite effective and have brought significant growth to Netflix.

Antenna analyzed Netflix’s daily U.S. user registration data for the past four and a half years and found that the streaming platform saw a sharp increase in new users in the four days following it announced a crackdown on password sharing, including two days on May 26 and 27. The number of new user registrations has risen to nearly 100,000 per day. The last time Netflix had such a significant increase in new users was when the United States announced the closure of the city in response to the new crown epidemic.

The report also responds to the suspicion that more people may choose to unsubscribe from Netflix. Their data indicates that the number of unsubscribes since May 23 is an increase of 25.6% compared with the average data of the past 60 days. But seeing a 102% increase in new subscribers, Netflix still has positive growth.

Yahoo Finance It was also found that Netflix’s stock price rose by 3% following the publication of Antenna’s report, but the official refused to respond to the content of the third agency’s report. I believe we can wait for a while, Netflix will probably publish their quarterly financial report in mid-July, and then we will know the actual situation.
