Both Reiko and Gentaro will appear in the game. Article: Alex Hopley – Gamereactor.cnMortal Kombat 1 has a chance to bring back plenty of old fan favorites as it resets the timeline for the latest game in the series. We’ve already seen the return of Tanya, Li Mei, and Darius, but now we can add Reiko and Gentaro to that list as well. The centaur and brutal ninja appear in a currently unreleased cutscene shown at SDCC2023. It looks like Gentaro is playable, as a cutscene shows a fight with him, and Reiko should at least be available as a Gumi fighter. The clip also gives us more story details, including that Shao Kang is now a general in Milena’s army and may have been tricked by Shang Tsung into betraying the future empress.
