Nelson: New Zealand win by seven wickets in the second ODI series against Bangladesh. New Zealand chased down Bangladesh’s target of 291 runs by losing three wickets in 46.2 overs.
The Kiwis’ top scorer was Henry Nicholls who scored 95 runs off 99 balls. Will Young’s innings, which scored 89 runs from 94 balls, also strengthened the team.
Batting first, Bangladesh got the best score on the strength of Soumya Sarkar’s century. His innings of 169 off 151 balls included 22 fours and two sixes.
