While walking on a beach in Sussex, England, Marilyn, a 72-year-old Briton, made a discovery that was unexpected to say the least, but above all surprising.
Marilyn Inglis posted a photo of a strange creature she came across while walking. “You don’t see too many things like that in general. We just stood there watching it for a while. It looked like an alien,” she wrote. “I showed the photos to a lot of people, but no one seemed to know what it was,” adds the septuagenarian in the columns of the Mirror.
The Briton was therefore very confused, since she never really knew what creature it was. But lately she noticed that what she saw that day looked very similar to another mysterious animal, captured off the Dorset coast last December.
The beast is dark gray in color and has a “transparent” head, much like a jellyfish. She has two fins and a long tail. Even experts from the RSPCA charity were baffled when they saw the creature discovered by Marylin, unable to tell what it was.
But there would still be an answer. Marine Conservation Society researchers said it could be a species of ray. “Our experts believe it is a thorny ray that has been caught with its wings removed,” a spokesperson said.
What is certain is that the animal discovered by Marylin greatly surprised Internet users, who reacted en masse. “Loch Ness had a baby!” “, “There are necessarily extraterrestrials in the sea”, commented two Internet users.
