Illicit collette and dissemination of images contrary to good morals and identity theft, these are the facts which are accused of Cheikh Diéne. A first grade student, he was brought to court for pretending to be a girl named Dior on Instagram to approach and extract obscene videos from Ramatoulaye Thiam.
Aged 17 and 18 respectively, these first and final year students were brought to court for flagrante delictos for acts of illicit collection and dissemination of images contrary to morality and identity theft.

Indeed, this whole story between Cheikh Diéne and Ramatoulaye Thiam started from a discussion on Instagram. Under a fake account with the name of a girl, Dior, Cheikh Diéne communicated with Ramatoulaye to lure him before obtaining his contact and inviting him on WhatsApp. Which the latter accepted while ignoring that she was communicating with a boy. In doing so, she sent him her obscene videos. And as soon as he received these pornographic images, Cheikh Diène began to blackmail the girl.
And in order not to divulge his “nudes”, Cheikh Diéne invited Rama to sleep with him. But, he didn’t keep his promise because he shared it with other people. Better yet, he sold the obscene videos to Kocc Barma. The latter in turn published them on his site.

This had enormous consequences for the young student in her final year of school. “Because of that, my father kicked me out of my house when he found out. When Kocc Barma was asked to remove them, he did not do so. And my loved ones had to pay 300 euros for Kocc to agree to remove the obscene videos on its site“, she explained before being reprimanded by the judge. “It is in your interest to review your behavior since you do not know what you will become in the future. Everything posted on the internet stays there forever.“, did he declare.
For his part, his executioner Cheikh Diène showed incredible bad faith at the bar, maintaining that he had never given the victim an appointment to sleep with her. Prosecuted for illegal collection and dissemination of images contrary to morality and identity theft, he persisted by saying he had not sent the images to anyone even though during the investigation he had admitted the facts. “A few days after she sent me the videos, I invited her to come see me but it was without conditions. The second time I invited her over, she told me that she was seeing her period. She was the one who suggested I have a threesome with another of her friends so I could sleep with them.”defended the accused.

The prosecutor, convinced of his guilt, requested 6 months in prison against Cheikh Diène. In his defense, Me Bassirou Sakho begged for leniency from the court. The lawyer admitted that his client was found with a cell phone containing pornographic images.
The court finally sentenced him to 2 years of imprisonment, including 1 month. He must pay his victim, Ramatoulaye Thiam, the sum of 1 million FCA as compensation.
