Al-Marsad Newspaper: Lawyer Hammoud Al-Najim revealed the harm that would befall the owner of the property if the resident used it to abuse or promote drugs.

Al-Najem said, in his interview on Al-Ikhbariya channel, that the landlord must confirm before renting to anyone, verify and document his data in the leased system.

He added, “There are those who rent some apartments, warehouses, and rest houses with irregular contractual papers, or they are rented to a person, and then the surprise is that they are inhabited by other people.”

He continued: Some landlords do not inform the authorities in the hope of renting, and therefore they are partners in the incident, and in the event of irregularity of rent, they will be subject to penalties.

He concluded: The issue has become a war on drugs and will continue until these psychotropic substances are eliminated.
