Eduardo Caro or “René” as everyone knows him, is a former breakdancer and rapper. In her youth she was dedicated to street dance and with her group she danced in the municipal amphitheater of Roca. Her interest in dance It started in the year 1984 when I was 17 years old., a culminating time where the music industry was influenced by Michael Jackson and the breakdancing boom.

It was “Chechu” Gómez who a few days ago began to make René’s story public when he noticed that he was going through a difficult financial situation. She cHe met the man at his job, since sHis boss helped him with food. TOSeeing him often, he began to notice that he was always “wearing what he was wearing.”

It only took a couple of minutes for the publication where he asked for clothes, shoes and something to warm himself with, to have an impact. The entire city mobilized almost immediately when they found out who it was. since in his youth he was recognized and much loved. “He was always good people,” they said.

His life was quite particular and “bohemian”, With dance he went to different places following the dream of becoming a great dancer He participated in street competitions, visited different media, even with breakdancing he met his ex-partner who, according to what he indicated, “was the best dancer I ever had.”

Although dancing was something important to René, he also thinks that «with this I lost like in the war because I threw away my chances of life, I dedicated my whole life to dancing.

During his adult life he did temporary jobs in the sawmill, in masonry or in the bakery, thus earning some money to live. But certain circumstances led him to a difficult reality to go through, his physical condition is not the same and he was affected by several health problems.

Now you have problems with four vertebrae in your spine that make it impossible for you to do normal activities. “Walking more than four blocks makes it difficult for me, the pain I suffer is so much that later I can end up lying down for days,” he said, adding that the way he gets around to avoid feeling pain is his bicycle that accompanies him everywhere.

Going through a pandemic and the death of his parents affected him remarkably until he reached a depression from which he is now managing to get out.

With some emotion in his words, René expressed being surprised by the great repercussion that spreading his name had and thanked all the neighbors who came to help him, “I didn’t think they still remembered me.”

Remembering his moments as a dancer, René said that he wanted to be part of the generation that sought to express itself with its body “It was a hobby for me and then I wanted to improve myself because I realized that I really liked it,” RÍO NEGRO told the newspaper.
