Russian Anastasia Potapova confidently defeated the sixth racket of the world, American Corey Gauff, at a tournament in Stuttgart (Germany) with a prize fund of more than €678,000.
In the second round match, Potapova defeated Gauff in 1 hour and 17 minutes with a score of 6:2, 6:3. Potapova made one ace and made one double fault (an American – two each), and converted three of 13 break points.
