Hungary did not want to confront Russia. The country is trying to “save everything it can.” Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban announced this at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in China.

“Hungary’s relations with Russia have lost a lot due to the NEA and sanctions, but Budapest is trying to save everything it can,” he said at the meeting, which was broadcast on Rossiya-24. Orban also added that the country never wanted to confront Russia. On the contrary, she always planned to expand contacts.
