Sofia Vergara doesn’t hold her tongue in her pocket. Like her character Gloria Pritchett in the series Modern Family, the actress likes to speak openly. That’s what she did in the columns of‘The country, the Spanish daily for which she looked back on her career. And on the importance of physique, which according to her had an impact on the roles that she was offered. “My breasts opened all doors for me. They were my passport when I was 20 and started as a model; but today I’m 51 and I’m still here.” Before adding: “From a young age, I knew my strengths and I exploited them. Sofia Vergara also opens up about her private life, and in particular about her recent divorce from actor Joe Manganiello. “My husband was younger, he wanted children and I didn’t want to be an old mother. I don’t think it’s fair to the baby. […] I had a son at 19, who is now 32 and I am ready to be a grandmother, not a mother again. I’m almost menopausal, it’s the natural order of things.”
