Catherina has been going through a real domestic ordeal for six months. In April, his stair lift installed by Mobilae in 2016 broke down. The problem? The device is stuck on the first floor after an unsolicited rise, due to a problem with the lever.

The Belgian then finds herself stuck on the ground floor of her home. She deplores the situation with HBVL, who paid 3,690 euros and more than 300 euros per year for the maintenance of the stair lift.
“I called Mobilae and made an appointment for annual maintenance. At the end of April, a technician arrived. He looked at the elevator and said the lever was no longer available. The same technician returned in August, with the long-awaited lever, which he himself sought in private. But it didn’t fit. In the meantime, this elevator has been standing still for six months. Very annoying, because not only my bed, but also the shower is upstairs…” says Catherina.
The worst part of all this is that the lady received a bill of 300 euros for the annual maintenance of the device which does not work. Mobilae even threatens her with an additional 49 euros if she does not pay the amount.
After being contacted by our Flemish colleagues, the brand indicated that a technician was to visit Catherina on September 29. Rebelote on the day, when the room still did not fit. “He’s now promising to be there at the beginning of October, we’ll see. In the meantime, we are not paying for this maintenance contract,” she assures. The Belgian therefore still finds herself stuck outside her home.
